Challenges

The client’s existing fixed rate loan was converting to a significantly higher floating rate. Additionally, the client desired to lock in the longest term possible given the prevalence of historically low rates.

Solutions

Identified a bank willing to provide ten-year fixed-rate financing. Due to the bank’s prior relationship with the Borrower, they were able to move quickly and close on time prior to a reset.
